Integrations and APIs

Move the information. Keep the state clear.

We connect applications and design APIs so data exchange has explicit rules, visible failures and a practical recovery path.

02

A connection with an operating contract

01

Data contract

Source of truth, identifiers, field mappings and update direction.

02

Event handling

Validation, limits, ordering and protection against duplicate effects.

03

Recovery path

Visible errors, safe retries and an accountable owner for the connection.

03

An order crossing systems

  1. 01

    Receive the event

    A new order carries a shared identifier.

  2. 02

    Validate and transfer

    The integration checks required fields and sends the agreed data.

  3. 03

    Confirm or hold

    The outcome is recorded. Conflicts and missing information enter a queue for action.

01

Signs of a fit

  • one event should update more than one application;
  • duplicates or conflicting status values are common;
  • an existing connection has no monitoring or clear owner;
  • a partner or new product needs a controlled interface.
04

Boundaries

An integration inherits the limits and data quality of the connected products. It cannot create information that an upstream system does not expose. Resilience requires idempotency, retries, monitoring, and an agreed response when either side changes.

05

Delivery and client inputs

We establish the source of truth for each field, event timing, limits, mappings, errors, and recovery procedure. We need API documentation, a safe test environment, representative records, and responsible contacts for both connected systems.

Before we talk

Before we start

Feasibility depends on the API, licence, data access and provider restrictions. We assess those conditions before committing to the implementation scope.
